The Professional Footballers Association (PFA) Awards is unique in the football awards industry, recognising the outstanding performers from every division, and the only awards voted for by the professional players. 2023 was particularly special as the PFA celebrated 50 years of the Awards.

Moving from London to Manchester, the 50th PFA Awards was held at the Lowry Theatre, with INCA creating a completely new format and design. A 3 dimensional stage and layers of digital content around an oversized LED showcased highlights of the past season and the nominees, with a glossy catwalk set, satellite interview area and hybrid awards night and stadium-esque lighting completing the stage design. A full red carpet with twin step and repeat and interview run welcomed guests, with winners whisked to a content creation winners room.

Hosted by Alex Scott and Jules Breach, on the night winners included Erling Haaland, Rachel Daly, Bukayo Saka and Lauren James, with guests including England Manager Gareth Southgate and Alan Shearer, and a live performance by international afrobeats superstar, Davido.
